2016 Regulatory Process

On December 16, 2016, NSPML filed an Interim Assessment Application seeking UARB approval to collect payment from NS Power for the Maritime Link effective January 1, 2018. This application ensures that the Maritime Link is immediately available and providing benefit to Nova Scotia electricity customers.

Delivering the Project on time and on budget ensures that Nova Scotia electricity customers avoid any additional financing costs due to potential delays in availability.

Approval of this application will add no additional costs for electricity customers as the project is already included in Nova Scotia Power’s Rate Stability Plan.
