Maintaining assets

The cables were the longest of their kind in North America at the time of completion, collectively weighing more than the Eiffel Tower.

Delivering clean energy

The Maritime Link can transmit up to ~500 MW of clean energy and typically supplies in the order of 20% of Nova Scotia's total electricity. The Link provides reliable baseload energy that also enables more intermittent renewables like wind and solar.
