Community Liaison Committees
Through the formation of Community Liaison Committees (CLCs), Emera Newfoundland and Labrador continues to foster constructive working relationships with communities and promote community engagement.
CLCs have been formed on the island of Newfoundland and in Cape Breton. It is intended that the membership of the CLCs will represent diverse perspectives and backgrounds. CLC members consist of local stakeholders and are identified through recommendations made by local organizations and stakeholder groups, or through other community engagement activities.
The CLCs will provide an on-going forum for discussion among ENL, community members, the public and stakeholders on issues related to the Project.
